Dates: *New Dates: September 8th, 9th, and 10th
Location: Lakecliff Golf Club: 1700 Kahala Sunset Drive, Spicewood, TX 78669

Girls: 9 holes each day
Who is exempt? Boys: Players who have been on Varsity for 2 or more years.
Girls: Players who finished in the Varsity Top 5 (tournament average) during the 2019-2020 season
Do I need to play tournaments over the Summer to attend tryouts? It's not necessary, but it's highly recommended you play tournaments over the Summer. If you want to play Varsity Golf you should have played in as much Varsity level competition as possible, for example but not limited to STPGA Prestige Tour, Legends Junior Tour, TJGT Invitationals, and AJGA events.
US Kids and STPGA are the best place for players who are new to competitive golf or are new to the game (shoot 90 or higher)
TJGT is a good option for players who have some experience and can shoot scores that fall in the 75-90 range
Legends & AJGA are highest level and you have to qualify to play in these.
* We will not base the teams solely on tryout scores. We will take into account summer scores, past performances, attitude, etc...
All players trying out should be familiar with basic etiquette and rules of the game (i.e. Penalty Area options, cart path relief, ground under repair, lost ball options, what to do when you hit a ball out of bounds, etc.)
*If you are unable to attend the tryout please email Boys: Coach Payne at paynedu@ltisdschools.org or Girls: lemonp@ltisdschools.org
